Suitable for level and any media.
Do you have a drawer full of photographs you would love to paint?
Kate believes that by using photographs and sketchbooks selectively one can blossom as a budding artist and given time produce more for the wall and less for the bin!
This 2-day workshop is designed for those who need guidance to get them going on their own paintings and require encouragement and advice on decision making and ultimately guidance of producing ‘a painting’ rather than a copy of a photo!
Kate will initially discuss composition, colour, planning and research. You will be encouraged to use your own choice of media. Demonstrations and advice are also key elements in this workshop and will be offered throughout the weekend.
£185.00 includes refreshments. Bring a packed lunch. Materials can be hired ..please enquire.
