The extensive gardens of Southwick House comprise three main areas.  The first is a traditional formal walled garden with potager and large glasshouses.  Adjacent to this is a hedged formal agrden with herbaceous, shrup and rose beds.  Outwith the  formal garden there is a large water garden plus trees, shrubs and lawns running alongside the southwick Burn.
